Now is the time to become an inaugural member of South Suburban Family Shelter’s Sustaining Partner program. This monthly giving program is your chance to join together with other caring individuals to demonstrate the power of your commitment to ending domestic violence and keeping the dreams of survivors like Rita alive. After years of abuse by her husband, Rita found her way to South Suburban Family Shelter.
Thanks to generous donors like you, Rita was able to participate in Project RENEW, where she learned money management skills, obtained a part-time job and began a savings plan. She ultimately acquired a full-time career in her chosen field, fulfilling her dream of financial independence so that she could raise her children in a safe, secure home.
Our 200 member goal is ambitious, but with your help families impacted by domestic violence can achieve their dreams.
South Suburban Family Shelter is a not-for-profit, tax-exempt organization under 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and all donations are deductible to the extent proficed by the law.
