Adopt A Family 2021

Adopt-A-Family is an annual program designed to help South Suburban Family Shelter’s clients and their children during the holiday season. The victims/survivors and their children who participate in Adopt-A-Family are experiencing financial hardship as a result of their family circumstances. They would likely have nothing for the holidays without the generosity of donors.
Donors receive the family’s item wish list, then purchase and wrap gifts for their adopted family. Donors can also adopt the holiday meal shopping list. Holiday meal list include non-perishable items and the client’s choice of turkey, chicken, or pork.
The food and wish list will be assigned by Brittany Williams, our Events and Volunteer Manager, beginning the week of November 1st. If you are interested in participating, please email Brittany at email@example.com so that she can send you the guidelines and assign you a family.
Deadline to drop off will be December 3rd.
